What to Expect

We have designed this process to give you a framework for making an educated and informed decision about working together. Of equal importance, you will finish this process knowing exactly how you can become financially healthy.

For people who are potentially a good fit for our firm, there is no cost or obligation for this process as we want you to know exactly how we can help you before you pay us a single dollar in fees or trust us with a penny of your nest egg.

Step 1 - Initial Phone Meeting

Before committing your time or ours, this 15-minute phone call will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches our expertise. After all, you wouldn’t see a podiatrist if you needed heart surgery.

If we aren’t a good fit for each other, I will gladly introduce you to a firm who is better suited to your needs.

Step 2 – First Office Meeting

Prescription without evaluation and diagnosis is malpractice

The goal of this meeting is to get perfectly clear on your goals, concerns, and unique financial situation.

Your answers to our questions and our initial discussions will guide our analysis, which will result in plain-English answers to your critical questions.  

STEP 3 - SLEEP ON IT

Having been in the business for more than 20 years, I am in no rush for you to make a decision. Prior to deciding whether we should work together, you will want to answer the following questions.

  • Do I like/trust/respect the team at Archer Investment Management?
  • Will the benefits and value they provide exceed their cost?
  • Did they answer all of my initial questions clearly and thoroughly?
  • Do I understand and agree with their investment philosophy?

I will call you the next day to follow up and answer any additional questions you may have from our first meeting.  If we decide it is a good fit, we will send you our paperwork, schedule our second meeting, and begin the financial planning process.  If you decide that it’s not a good fit, we will wish you all the best. In other words, there is never a hard-sell or pressure to say yes.

Step 4 - Second Office Meeting

This is where the proverbial rubber meets the road

During this meeting we will answer any questions you have, discuss your overall financial situation, and how you can best reach your financial goals.   This is where you will begin to see, in dollars and cents, how our firm can really improve your finances.

STEP 5 - PLAN IMPLEMENTATION

This is where the magic happens

After our in-depth conversation during our second office meeting, we will both leave with homework to do.  You will be given full access to your online financial planning portal.  It will send you gentle email reminders to complete a few tasks we cannot do for you.  Don’t worry!  We’ve been doing this a long time and we’ll help you every step of the way.

Step 6 - ANNUAL REVIEW Meeting

This is our time to update each other and review your financial plan together.  We will track your financial plan’s progress and revisit any tasks that haven’t been completed yet.
